Raine carefully padded into the large room, and noticed others were doing the same. The beast was looming and the fire gave it a hideous red glare upon its scales.
She looked back and it seemed some of the party from earlier was coming up as well, but the monster in front of her looked like it wouldn't yield to simple brute blows.
While many Puppillars and Catsnails were beginning to face it in battle, she had a different plan...
"If I'm able to move while it's focusing on someone else, perhaps I may abscond with some of the treasure in the meanwhile. I'm not going to be strong enough to beat it, that's for sure!"
She realized it would take a few bounds and leaps, but the first task was to close the gap while getting closer to the Beast's hoard.
Raine rolls, using her Paws stat, for a good headstart on closing the distance with her agility and speed, to get half way across the room and closer to the hoard near the Beast.
(oh boy this is gonna take a few replies I imagine)
The glittering gold lays before Raine, and the beast as well..
Raine rolls a 5 +5, for a total of 10, failing!
Rain leaps nimbly through the battlefield a few times, but is soon stopped as a giant paw lands down in front of her, blocking her path. Raine looks up, watching the beast carefully, but its heads don't seem to take note of her, focused on other adventurers.
The beast lifts its paw again, striking towards another adventurer, giving Raine another chance to sneak by, or to maybe take the beast off guard with a surprise attack..

"Dangit!!" she panted, slightly in fear, as the paw nearly smacked her down. "What a monstrosity, I don't think anyone's going to best that thing." She thought.
Fearing the beast would best any strength displayed, she tries again to sneak past while the Beast is distracted.
"Maybe... a combination here..."
She rolls using her Paws stat to see if she can swiftly toss her dagger the paw farthest from her position to distract the Beast more solidly, and distract it from her position so she can sneak by!
The beast roars, swiping at a nearby adventurer...
Raine rolls a 20 +5, for a total of 25, succeeding!
Raine is able to throw her dagger with incredible accuracy, hitting her target and causing the beast to howl with anger. Just as she'd hoped, all three of the beast's heads to wheel around and look over at the source of the hit, leaving Raine in the clear to advance towards the treasure ahead.
The beast sits upon a huge pile of treasure, but other smaller piles are scattered about the room, ready for the taking. Raine isn't the only one who's considered grabbing some of the treasure and running though, there are few others already heading towards the piles, hopefully Raine can find one unoccupied, or can be faster than some of the other adventurers...

"Heck yes!" Raine internally thought, dashing past the distracted Beast. Finally, some sure luck going so well this day.
Needing to rely on her speed once again... she knows this is the climax of her adventure. "I just need to get in, get out, get enough for myself- and I'll be out of here." Her eyes scan the area for an untouched treasure pile, as she readies her bag as she runs.
She spots another thief heading towards it, but will her speed win out?
1 more roll of the dice using her Paws Stat to see if she attains her sweet sweet victory gains ;_;
