Mochius enters the room trembling. Though her companions surround her, she can't help but think the entire group is totally outmatched. They shoot her comforting looks as the beast stomps its many feet and bellows at the intruders. She trusts them, but how can they be so sure they'll come out of this unscathed. She should have known this was a bad idea!
She reached for her boomerang and grips it tightly, ready for whatever might happen next. Though, as she looks down the line of her party, she can't help thinking that treasure is a stupid thing to die for. Peering down at the coins scattered before them, she frowns. "What if we just distract the beast, grab as much as we can carry, and leave?" She asks her companions softly. They all shoot her dubious looks.
"We're here for treasure. All of it," one of them responds, looking angry.
Mochius flattens her ears to her head. There had to be another way. Even if they could kill the beast, it felt wrong. "But we don't need to kill it, right?"
Her companions exchange looks. "Of course, Mochius..." They begin slowly. "We don't need to kill it. In fact, maybe you could distract it for us, and we can sneak around its back and get all the treasure we can."
She breaths a sigh of relief and nods. She slithers out ahead of the group while the rest duck back into the shadowy doorway. "Hello!" She shouts towards the beast, who only grumbles in response. It's heads are swinging wildly, trying to pinpoint the rest of the group. She can hear her companions slinking around behind her. "We've - I mean, I've come for your treasure!" She reaches down and picks up a handful of coins. She tosses them towards the beast with all her might.
She rolls Teeth, trying to (carefully) hit the beast on the side of one of its heads to draw its attention towards her.
The beast roars loudly as the adventurers start to attack, its different heads lashing about...
Mochius rolls a 13 +0, for a total of 13, succeeding!
Mochius hurls her boomerang at one of the beast's head, bopping it on the nose with her practiced aim. The beast's head wheels around, staring at Mochius. It tries to gesture towards its other two heads to get their attention, but they're focused on some other adventurers.
The head whines a bit, before turning back to Mochius, lashing out in attempts to sweep her off her feet.

The beast is trying to knock her over and she dives out of it's reach. She has to figure out what to do, but the beast is lashing out at her as well as her party members. She hardly has a second to think.
"Stop! Everyone stop!" Mochius' cries fall on deaf ears. What should she do? Narrowing her eyes, she can see most of the beast's attention is still trained on her party members. She knows she needs to get closer to get everyone's attention. If she could just avoid the beast's wild paws!
Gritting her teeth, she decides to roll Paws. Maybe she could jump up onto the beast's leg as it slashes at her? She could climb up the leg! The heads would have to pay attention to her if she was right under their noses - literally!
Mochius rolls a 15 -3, for a total of 12, succeeding!
Even with all the craziness, Mochius is able to grab onto the beast's leg! It starts swinging again, and Mochius holds on for dear life, swinging to and fro for a moment, before the beast actually takes note of the snailcat clinging to it.
The beast raises its paw to its faces, staring at Mochius, a slight snarl on its lips. Its not attacking though, so Mochius has a chance to do something...
Mochius takes a deep breath and, before she knows it, she finds herself clinging desperately to the beast's paw. It lifts her, looking perplexed and angry. Her party members hesitate, their attacks falling short as they watch in dismay.
Trembling, Mochius straightens as best she can and meets the many gazes of the beast. "We don't need to fight!" She shouts, willing her voice to steady. The beast blinks slowly. "Please! I don't want to hurt you! And my friends probably don't either! We just wanted to go on an adventure and maybe find some treasure!" She realizes how stupid her pleading is, especially because she has no idea if the beast even understands her, but she has to try. "I just wanted to explore..." Her forced bravado is faltering. "I don't want anyone to get hurt. Not you, not my friends."
She takes another deep breath and peers down at her party members, all staring up at her in shock now. "If we leave, no one needs to get hurt. We don't need treasure, right?"
"Yes we do!" A voice calls angrily.
Mochius frowns. Turning her attention back to the beast, she decides to roll Tail. "If we promise to leave you in peace, can we take some treasure home with us? Not too much, just enough to prove we were here?" She asks hesitantly.
