The area looks quite overgrown, but Mochius keeps an eye out for the flowers...

Mochius rolls a 20 + 3, for a 23, succeeding!

There are certainly a lot of weeds growing around the castle, but the red flowers the tavern keeper mentioned are still growing strong as well. Mochius leads her party over to the patch of flowers, telling them that the basement door should be around here somewhere.

After a brief search, the party is able to locate the door, its heavy and wooden, with a thick iron lock. Looks like even with the entrance found, it won't be that easy to get in...

Mochius gasps with delight when she spots the red flowers. Just like the innkeeper said! The party clusters around the door, buzzing with apprehension and excitement. The energy drops off suddenly as they realize the door is locked tight.

Mochius' heart sinks. She thought the tip about the flowers would have been enough, but now that they had found the door, she was stumped. She had to figure out how to get inside - she wouldn't let her team down now!

Summoning all of her strength, she decides to roll Teeth to see if she can break down the door.

Mochius rolls a 14 +0, for a total of 14, succeeding!

The door definitely shows some wear and tear, Mochius tentatively pushes her paw against the door, and notices a bit of give. The wood feels old, so Mochius is able to start whacking away at it with her boomerang, making progress quickly. Her companions take note, and join in, and soon enough the group makes quick work of the door, revealing a darkened tunnel below...

Mochius feels a little thrill run through her as she realizes the door won't be much of an obstacle after all. Before long, her and her party members are breaking through, and they are suddenly faced with a dark tunnel.

Mochius stares through the murk, squinting. She tries to make out any shapes in the darkness that might trip them up, but she doesn't think she sees anything. Still, there might be traps hidden inside to keep out wayward adventurers like themselves. Her companions, fumbling with their equipment, finally manage to light their torches and pass one off to her. She turns back towards the tunnel and takes a deep breath.

As her party makes its way down into the tunnel, Mochius keeps her eyes peeled, still convinced there could be a trap waiting. She decides to roll Nose to see if she can spot anything. If nothing else, maybe she'd find something helpful!

The darkness of the tunnel is a bit intimidating..

Mochius rolls an 8 +3, for an 11, succeeding!

But with the torch in hand, and her keen eyes, Mochius keeps going with confidence through the tunnel. As she carefully walks forward, Mochius is able to spot a strange looking tile, next to the wall, with some suspicious holes...

She halts her party, placing a stone on the tile and quickly steps back as the trap springs, and a dart flies out of the wall, hitting the wall on the other side. Looks like the group will have to be careful..
