Panting and out of breath, Jasper rests his wings lightly on the cool stone. He hadn't expected the walls to be so high, and he was slightly embarrassed that he couldn't make it all the way to the top.
Perhaps he could help in a different way?
He could see some pupps searching for, well, something on the ground by the walls, probably a way in. The only thing he remembered hearing about the castle was discussed at the group meeting; the farmers had discussed mostly the weather and the abundance of deer in the area. Maybe one of the other pupps had overheard something else and were trying to find a way in from that?
Stumped, and ever-thinking of that precious loot that awaited him-- er, them, Jasper put a thoughtful paw to his chin and tapped it a couple times. While he was too tired to get back to the ground in his current state, maybe he could nose around this tiny ledge and see if anything came to mind?
[Jasper would like to roll his Nose for perception to investigate the ledge!]
Its kind of peaceful on the ledge above it all, but Jasper buckles down to take a look at the ledge...
Jasper rolls a 17 + 3, for a total of 20, succeeding!
The stone on the ledge and the wall its attached to is the same cool gray stone as the rest of the wall, but one stone looks a bit different than the others, and its a bit loose too, Jasper is able to move the stone aside, revealing a lever!
As the lever is pulled, Jasper feels a rumbling from below where he sits on the ledge.
