There's a chill in the air, with the year coming to a close, there are many holidays to celebrate, keeping the residents of Arcanis busy with celebration. From the Feast of the Beast to Cozytide, many gather together to celebrate with family, but a throughline through many holidays that are celbrated in Arcanis is that everyone is welcome at the table! Many celebrate with neighbors and community, and many even strive to be charitable and "take in strays" so to speak, so anyone without those to celebrate with, isn't alone for long. The Wanderer's Glade is particularly busy this time of year, with many travellers visiting for the holidays, many of which make new friends, and some of which even become wanderers no more. Sunny and Jack prepare the Glade to welcome one and all, and welcome any and all vistors and volunteers looking to make the Glade as welcoming and jolly as they can!

Welcome to our next event, friends of the glade!

Friends of the Glade is a design based event, but this time instead of designing for a specific person with a set of guidelines, all members have free reign to create some designs, all of which will be sent to the Wander's Glade for other participants to pick up after the designing period has ended!

Event Schedule:

• November 1st - December 15th - Designing Period
• December 16th - All designs released to the glade!

Here's how it works:

• All members can create up to three designs during the design period
  • Members can design 1 of each species, Puppillar, Snailcat, and Arcane Fauna
  • The maximum rarity level is Rare for Snailcats and Puppillars, and Arcane Fauna can be any type (but cannot have traits only obtainable using the Concentrated Arcane Magic). There is no accessory limit and adding (small) companions to the designs is fair game as well!
• Members will submit thier designs to the Friends of the Glade 2024 Gallery folder, with masterlist ready art and a list of all the traits by December 15th
  • Provie will comment on the submission logs for each design with approval or saying if anything needs to be changed
  • Members are welcome to use our Free to Use Bases for designing for this event or use a personal base made by themselves
  • Members should not share thier design(s) publicly before the reveal date, in order to preserve the suprise for everyone!
  • There is no restriction on art styles, but we reserve the right to bounce back any designs for edits
• For each design, members will earn a Glade Token, which can be used after the design period to adopt designs made for the event from the Wanderer's Glade
  • To claim your Glade Token, submit a claim with the link to your pending gallery submission (click here to view your pending gallery submissions)
• On December 16th, all of the designs will be uploaded to the masterlist and added to the Glade, with each design costing 1 Glade token!
  • Designs will be first come first served, but there will be some extra designs made by staff so no one winds up with the "leftovers". Staff members can still earn a maximum of 3 Glade Tokens, and will be compensated with staff rewards for any extra adopts
• At the end of January, any remaining adopts will have thier prices changed to treats according to the typical glade pricing!
