Happy (Late) Third Anniversary Puppillars!!

Whew!!! Time really flies huh? You can blink and miss a milestone, and I certainly did this time around, my apologies! Puppillars is now THREE whole years old!! Life has been crazy, but after realizing I had missed it, I kicked in into high gear to make sure we could have an awesome celebration to make up for it!

In a lot of ways, 2021 has also been nuts, just like last year, but I'm so grateful for all the support Puppillars has gotten, and I hope that Puppillars has been able to provide some joy for everyone over the last year!

 

Milestones from the past year!

Our biggest milestones this year were launching some fun major features, such as Adventuring, Questing, and Challenges! These features help provide some always going on activities for our members looking for fun stuff to do between events!

During this year we have also launched our very adorable baby puppillars, Puppypillars!! There are already 14 lil puppypillars on our site, and more to come!

There are 64 members on our site now! Welcome to all our new members!! We appreciate our new and old members alike!

There are now 280 Puppillars and 35 Snailcats on our masterlist! We welcomed some amazing MYOs, Official Adopts, and Guest Artist adopts this year!

We have 556 items on our site, including a bunch of new pride items, and some exciting items from Adventuring and Questing!

We also have 32 Awards on the site as of posting, and more to come very soon!

Our site has had many awesome upgrades to our site, such as adding the Donation Shop and the Seasonal Shop, as well as stuff like Affiliates and adding captchas to registration (say goodbye to all the bot accounts!)

Even though things have been a little slow over this year, we still had 4 big events, our Dungeon Doggos Event, The Mysterious Orbs Event, Trick or Treating, and our 12 Days of Cozytide Advent!

im very glad to see another year of puppillars (and snailcats)! this species is so nice and comfy to be in, i rlly ought to make more of these little fellas sometime soon :>

i think maybe an event focused on character improvement (or even character creation) like mothcats' level up! event would be cool? obviously it doesn't have to be just like that, but something to drive users to improve upon characters would be useful! i know i tend to stray away from doing species stuff unless there's a reward tied to it ack
maybe even something combined with exploring, so that people could get more familiar with that? like a mix of the dnd event + level up! event?

The Character Development Challenge actually uses some of the stuff from the Level Up event (since i made it haha) so you can do something like that if you're interested (though its for one character at a time): https://puppillars.com/challenges/1

Happy Birthday, Pupps!

I really liked the release of Puppypillars, I think that the orb event leading up to it was really cute, and I enjoyed plotting out some breedings with my friend Mew!

In terms of what I'd like to see more of, definitely more adventure zones :D I've been enjoying working through Patchwork Meadow!

happy belated Pupp birthday!!!!!

I think my happy thing is just.... the community in general!!! I can't remember the last time I found an online space where everyone was just genuinely pleasant!! the Pupps just attract good vibes, I think. everyone gets excited about events and new adopts and art, and it makes me even more excited to engage. I hope I get to know everyone a little better this year!

something for the future hm..... I love TGI's idea about the map, and Pooka's idea about BABY SNAILCATS since I have a pretty obvious Snailcat bias alskdjalskd but in terms of like. very practical things.......... I think a really fun adopt set might be like, idk, pampered housepets? I LOVE the idea of people keeping Pupps and Snailcats as pets

One happy thing I like about the group is how excited everyone was with the art exchange, the pieces were amazing and everyone was really nice!

I'd like to see more of anything for the group, its fun to see where it goes!! Although I do like collecting the dice sets, so wouldn't mind more of those LMAO
