During the forest segment, Alabaster seems excited to jot down all sorts of notes about what the characters have done or found. He has a big grin on his face as he looks over his notes. "You all are going to make this very exciting," he says, "Let's take a brief break, so everyone can grab some snacks." He stretches his front most paws, "We shall re-convene in fifteen minutes, that should give me some extra time to plot about all this new stuff." The pupps at the table agree enthusiastically, and start to filter in and out during the break, a few write down some of their own notes on their character sheets.
As promised, Alabaster starts up the game again waiting for everyone to get back, "After a long and eventful trek through the woods, your party arrives at their destination, a crumbling castle in a clearing of the thick woods..."
Chapter 3 - The castle
You finally reach the castle where the beast is said to have a lair. There's one problem though... There doesn't seem to be any way inside the castle! Your party circles the perimeter, finding no doors and no windows, just solid stone walls. But there must be way in, right?
How does your character find a way into the seemingly impenetrable castle? Do they discover a secret? Use a feat of athleticism? Feel free to use your imagination for a creative solution!

[Jasper briefly argues -- and communicates plans -- with the other pupps seated at the table, then begins his response.]
Stunned and disbelieving, Jasper gazed up at the castle with a mix of shock and awe. There was no way they'd come so far only to be stopped by some crummy castle wall! The beast -- and more importantly, the TREASURE -- was hidden just out of their reach!
Jasper felt the disappointment settle in his entire body when he thought of all that glorious treasure, and more importantly HIS share, hidden from him-- er, them, by the likes of some foul beast in an inaccessible castle. His whole body felt heavy, even his wings...
Of course, his WINGS! How could he forget? He couldn't fly for long distances without getting tired, but he just had to try!
After briefly consulting with the rest of the pupps on the team, he flapped his wings experimentally and launched himself into the air. He couldn't muster the energy to get over the wall completely, but he could sniff around the stone to see if he found anything...
[Jasper would like to use Nose's Perception to investigate the wall of the castle!]

The castle walls are tall and intimidating...
Jasper rolls a 4 +3 for a total of 7, failing!
Jasper flaps his wings, flying up and up, but not quite high enough to get to the top of the wall. With that level of exertion, Jasper starts to get a little exhausted, and looking around to try and find a paw hold, is able to find a small ledge in the wall, just enough to sit on.
The ledge is about half up the wall, giving Jasper a nice vantage point, for looking both around the castle, and investigating the ledge itself, perhaps it holds some sort of secret!

[Jasper snaps his fingers in response to his low roll, but he prepares a second response.]
Panting and out of breath, Jasper rests his wings lightly on the cool stone. He hadn't expected the walls to be so high, and he was slightly embarrassed that he couldn't make it all the way to the top.
Perhaps he could help in a different way?
He could see some pupps searching for, well, something on the ground by the walls, probably a way in. The only thing he remembered hearing about the castle was discussed at the group meeting; the farmers had discussed mostly the weather and the abundance of deer in the area. Maybe one of the other pupps had overheard something else and were trying to find a way in from that?
Stumped, and ever-thinking of that precious loot that awaited him-- er, them, Jasper put a thoughtful paw to his chin and tapped it a couple times. While he was too tired to get back to the ground in his current state, maybe he could nose around this tiny ledge and see if anything came to mind?
[Jasper would like to roll his Nose for perception to investigate the ledge!]
